Immerse yourself in a winter wonderland, where daily yoga, wellness rituals, and gourmet organic meals await. In your free time have fun exploring the local mountains by sledding, winter walking, ice skating, cross-country skiing, and more! Upon returning from your adventures, enjoy the spa and relaxation areas, wind down with nourishing yoga, and share a refreshing drink sitting around a table of smiling faces.

About the Retreat

This 4-day retreat offers a unique blend of invigorating yoga practices, delicious, hearty organic meals, and a relaxing spa area. You’ll immerse yourself in a world of renewal by enjoying daily yoga practices, pranayama, and guided meditations. I’ll guide you through a creative mindfulness project, partner Ayurvedic massage techniques, and a fun inversion workshop.

Yoga styles will range from powerful Ashtanga and energizing vinyasa to restorative yin yoga. Through these meaningful practices, free time to enjoy the surrounding area, and quality time away from the daily grind, you’ll leave feeling renewed.

This itinerary will give you an idea of how the retreat days will flow. However, it is subject to change and can be weather dependent.

All participants are expected to arrive at the retreat location for the Welcome Circle

  • 1300-1500: Welcome circle & dynamic vinyasa yoga
  • 1500-1830: Free time (spa opens at 1500)
  • 1830-2030: Dinner
  • 2045-2130: Evening pranayama & yin yoga

An early start will give us plenty of time to enjoy the winter wonderland around us! During the daily activity time participants can opt to relax at the apartments instead.

  • 0645-0745: Sunrise yoga + tea & light snacks
  • 0800-0900: Breakfast buffet
  • 0900-1400: Winter activity* or free time
  • 1430-1630: Afternoon workshop: Chair Yoga: The Power of Props (+ tea and light snacks)
  • 1615-1830: Free time / spa
  • 1830-2030: Dinner then free time

Start the morning with a hot drink and light snack and a re-energizing yoga class, followed by brunch and activity time!

  • 0800-0915: Wake-me-up Yin to Yang Yoga + Pranayama
  • 0930-1100: Brunch
  • 1100-1400: Winter activity* or free time
  • 1415-1615: Afternoon workshop: Mindful Mandala Yoga (+ tea and light snacks)
  • 1715-1915: Dinner out at local restaurant
  • 1930-2100: Free time / spa
  • 2130-2200: Evening yoga nidra

Enjoy a morning yoga flow followed by brunch, then our Closing Circle and goodbyes 🙁

  • 0800-0930: Gentle Morning Yoga + Partner Ayurvedic Thai Massage
  • 0945-1100: Brunch
  • 1100-1230: Free time
  • 1230-1430: Afternoon Workshop: Nervous System Regulation, Yoga & Closing Circle (+ tea & light snacks)
  • 1500: Spa available for use before departure

Additional Information + FAQs

The Retreat Price is paid directly to The Third Place. The accommodation/meal price is paid directly to the Kurblhof.

The accommodation prices include 3 nights, 3x breakfast buffet, 2x dinners, tea/light snacks, daily city taxes, bus/XC ski pass, and access to to the Kurblhof spa.
The Kurblhof has holiday apartments including a bedroom with a king bed (180cm, non-separable) and a cozy sleeping sofa (150cm) in the living room. Each unit also has a dining area, kitchenette, and private bathroom. The prices are reflective of the sleeping situation. One apartment has two bedrooms instead of one, and a sleeping couch, but the prices are the same.

A Non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot: 150 euros. In the event of a cancellation you can move your deposit to a future retreat*.

Payment method: Bank transfer with IBAN is the preferred method. Card payments are available when necessary.

The full retreat payment amount is due 31 days prior to the retreat. More information and *terms and conditions can be found here.

  • Cancellations up to 30 days prior: free
  • Cancellation between 29-14 days prior: 25% of the retreat cost is refunded
  • Cancellation within 13 days of the retreat: no refund given
  • Early departure from the retreat: no refund given

This retreat requires a minimum of 7 students and has a maximum 14 participants.

Included in the accommodation / meals price is 3x breakfast buffets (not vegetarian), 2x four-course dinners (vegetarian) + 1 aperitif beverage, access to the tea and snacks station. All other food is at the expense of the participant.

If you have someone close to you that wants to come enjoy the area and free time with you, please be considerate of the itinerary and the other participant’s privacy. Please notify me of your request in advance to see if it will be a good fit. You must inquire with the Kurblhof to see if accommodations are available – keep in mind that there might not be spaces in the Kurblhof, but rather in the Bio Landpension Monika next door.

No, only the welcome circle is mandatory. However, all the activities are highly encouraged to help you get to know the group and enjoy the retreat experience!
